Parlee Beach water quality scandal:
Shortly after arriving to New Brunswick I began digging into issues of high fecal bacterial contamination and lack of safety standards at Parlee Beach – New Brunswick’s crown jewel of tourism. My work exposed problems going back decades and spanning several governments. The work led to government change and I have received a nomination for the Beth McLaughlin environmental journalism award.
